Another thing I did on Saturday was watch my sister Jessica graduate from Barry University with her Masters in Social Work. I wanted to make a special card for the occasion something more then just a graduation card.
This is what I came up with. I found these great stamps at Susana's and I just love them, I know I'll be back to order more.
I printed the "Reach For The Stars "sentiment in LD Playful font and cut it out with the Nestabilities Tag Dies. For a neat layered effect I stamped her wings a second time on vellum with Stazon Jet Black in and cut them out, which is why they have a 3D look. The fairy is also up on foam tape for extra dimension. I traced her wings and colored the flowers on her dress with Spica Glitter Pens for extra sparkle too.
Reach for the Stars Recipe...
Cardstock: Bazzill Bling and Vellum
Pattern Paper: Disney Star Dust Paper
Stamps: Fairy Nadine
Ink: Stazon Jet Black Ink
Accessories: Star punch, Tag Nestabilities Dies
Copics: Clear, Blue, and Yellow Spice Glitter Pens
Your sister must have loved this card.
It looks like a perfect Birthday card for someone...Like ME!!! HINT ! Smile
