I hope you have been enjoying the holidays with your loved ones! I know I have been enjoying this time with my family so the blog has been a little quiet. I hope you don't mind ~ I'll be back to posting soon! It's not often Leon has time off from work so we have been spending a lot of time just being home together. I do have a little something to share with you today.
One of the things I miss with the kids growing up was the cute little traditions you do this time of year, so I had fun making this one to pass on to Gavin for his first Christmas.
Reindeer Food! No Christmas Eve is complete without reindeer food. This was one of my kid's favorite traditions when they were little.
I used the Sizzix Bigz Pillow Box Die and cut out the star with the Nestabilities Die then backed it with a transparency. So cool that you can see the reindeer food through the star cut out. I used the Prancer stamp from A Muse and added Xmas Red Stickles to his nose. He was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol and stamped in Stazon Jet Black ink.
Gavin is still a little young to understand reindeer food but my sister Stephanie thought it was cute.
He is a photo of Gavin taken on Christmas Eve opening his first gift or at least playing with the bow.
Some photos of the kids on Christmas.
