On Sunday we took all the girls to the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge in West Boynton. Watching Rick trying to set up the camera on the tripod and then run over to get in the shot had to be one of the the funniest parts of the day. I can only imagine what people are thinking when they see him and ALL these girls! And there are still the three oldest kids missing from the photo! "Eight is Enough!" :)
We got some great photos while walking on the nature trail. It was so pretty and quite...well as quite as it can be with five girls around you! Everyone missed this guy until I showed them on the camera's LCD screen when I zoomed in as close as I could get.
This is a Viceroy Butterfly very close to the Monarch Butterfly.
This one is a Ruddy Daggerwing Butterfly
And this one is a Zebra Butterfly...also Florida's state butterfly.
This hawk was the coolest sighting of the day! Rick just said, "I can't believe we haven't seen any birds, hon." And there he was, almost at the end of the trail. It was perfect!
And a fun one! ;) Just taking a break.
And Jess says if she has to be in the pictures then so do I...funny, I don't seem to mind so much anymore! :)
I have to take Michael there some time. It looks so cool.

You can always come with! We will be going to the one on Hagen Ranch in Boynton some time soon. Maybe during the holiday break...the girls will be here for 9 days!
