After we had lunch at the Dunkin Donuts Diner I told you we spotted this Ford Model A Museum in the middle of nowhere. They were just starting to put the cars back inside so we just made it. There were some really cool old cars from the late 1920's and early 1930's...Milk trucks, Mail trucks, even an old "brown" UPS truck! They really did start out BROWN!
But the very best was watching Rick climb all over this...
A 1931 Ford Model AA Tow Truck and it was even red and black just like his! He was like a kid on Christmas inspecting ever gear, trying to figure out how they had every little part work together. It was really neat seeing how it was built back then and how it has lasted so long. That little tow truck is 80 years old and has all original parts on it! My 1999 Ford Expedition is falling apart at the seams. They just don't make anything to last any more!
That's probably the most beautiful tow truck I've ever seen. It's amazing how they kept an 80-year-old machine like this running. Hey, you got a '99 Expedition too! I've hot one, and it still runs like a charm.
