Today we took everyone to the Lake Worth Street Painting Festival. The town of Lake Worth blocks off the streets down town to local artists for two days while they work on these amazing chalk pictures. These were just a few of the ones we saw. They are really something to see.
The crazy part is driving over all this hard work on Monday morning when the roads open back up!!!
How cute are these two! Even the fire hydrants are colorful in Lake Worth! lol
Like I said yesterday we didn't get to everything we had planned this weekend...we wanted to start a garden out front under our bedroom window. We did stop and look at some plants on the way home and got a few ideas. The garden project will begin in two weeks...and then SPRING BREAK!!! No I'm not excited or anything! lol I mean it's not like I'm going on a vacation (A REAL vacation) that doesn't include Universal Studios for the first time in six years! And yes I have started a count down!
What a great adventure! And what a wonderfully sweet picture at the fire hydrant. I used to live in a suburb of Chicago that painted all of the fire hydrants like that.. so fun!
