Romeo and Juliet

This weekend we lucked out...Rick actually had the weekend off and we were able to get tickets to take every to see the Opera Romeo and Juliet at the Kravis Center. It was a really neat production geared more for families. It was a shorter version and they showed how the scenes were changed instead of closing the curtain. The Kitchen Table

Rick and I like all the same things...same movies, same TV shows, same music, same food. It's sometimes a little scary how many things we have in common. That being said sometimes it is also really easy to get stuck doing the same things...cooking the same meals and going to the same resturants. We have tried a few new places but they usually don't turn out very well so we go back to our comfortable favorties. My AMAZING Craft Desk

So I mentioned yesterday how Rick spent the day building me the MOST AMAZING craft desk EVER for my birthday! Well he is with my awesome desk!!! Here is Rick during the installation of the desk! So exciting!!! :D And here it is "ALMOST" completed and already covered in projects. I say almost because the top still needs to be stained but we kind of rain out of time ths weekend so that will get done later on. But no matter...isn't it FABULOUS!!!! Happy Birthday To Me!

I'm not 100% sure how this has now become a tradtition on my birthday BUT...it all started last year when Rick got me really good in the face with my cake. Which then some how turned into a cake fight in the living room. I had forgotten about this until...
