Today I finished up the rest of the garland orders...I won't bore you with more photos of superhero themed circle garlands! I am sure you all (If anyone is out there) just said a quiet, "thank you." lol :) Its okay, this whole blogging thing is really weird to me, I pretty much figure I am sitting in my room typing to myself...no different than if I was talking to myself, so I'll just continue to ramble on.
After I completed the garland orders I finally got to those felt hearts I cut out the other day...I also post pictures to myself on Instagram just in case you got lost at the hearts.
I bet you can't guess what I did with them? Yep...a Valentine Heart Garland! So predictable I know.
I am getting pretty fast at sewing these together, the cutting still takes some time but even that is getting better. I am really happy with this way this turned out, now to find the perfect spot to hang it.
I know there are a lot of people that don't care much for Valentine's Day...I am not one of them! :) I don't need a reason to show the people in my life I love them, but having a day devoted to LOVE just makes it more fun. Plus I love any reason to decorate the house. :)
I do have one more reason for having a special fondness for Valentine's Day...You see my birthday is February 10th and when I was born (19wewon'tgothere!) Moms were kept in the hospital more than 24 hours, which I think is crazy especially for first time moms but that is a whole different topic. Anyhow my first day home was on Valentine's Day and my mom dressed me all in red from head to toe...complete with red hair! I need to see if she can send me that photo.
