I have no idea where this month went, things just seemed to get away from me. I had all these plans and projects I was going to post and now here we are one day away from the end and I never posted...not even once! (Hangs head in shame) On the bright side...I guess I have projects all made for next year! lol Part of the problem has been my disappointing photos. :( You may have noticed in my last few posts (And this one) I used instagram shots...and NOT very good ones because I have the oldest camera phone on the planet! The issue began a few months back when our Mac died :( very sad day! We replaced the computer with an amazingly fast and fancy Windows 8 but all the Mac software I had like my Adobe Photoshop - not compatitble. This left me with a great new computer, a great DSLR camera, and yellow/grey photos of projects I was finally getting made. How could I tourture you all and post those??? I was beyond frustrated!
But lucky for me February is my birthday! (Yes, the whole month of February! LOL) Yay! And my wonderful parents sent me some birthday money which we used to get a PC version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 12! So hopefully now I'll be able to get some post worthy photos of my projects. :) And I won't go missing for a month at time! Sorry again about that...forgive me? :)
Another AWESOME, AMAZING, birthday surprise I received from my wonderful sneaky husband...a Silhouette Cameo!!! Can you believe it? Because I can't, I have wanted one for so long and even with it sitting here in front of me...I still can't believe I have one! I have been on Pinterest for hours...okay maybe days...pinning tutorials and project ideas! I'm so excited I don't know what to make first. Rick also got the kids in on the gift and they added some vinyl, sticker paper, and sketch pens! I am all set for a crafting weekend and spring break is right around the corner! :) I am so excited for spring break..anybody else counting down?
Rick and I did make one quick project using the Silhouette last week. One of his co-workers just had a gorgeous little girl on Monday 2/24. Her last day of work was last Friday and Rick brought a gift for the baby to work with this card that we made to match the theme they have in her room.
This was a fun quick little project but I can already see I am going to LOVE using this new craft tool for soooooooo many projects! Rick even wants to order some chrome vinyl for a tow truck project! I love that we can work on ideas together. <3 What are some of your favorite must try Silhouette projects?
